Empowering Black women to be strategically visible, confident and in demand in their careers and business.
Meet Our Founder
Sophia Adio believes every woman deserves to be seen for her brilliance, not in spite of who she is, but because of it. That belief didn't come from a textbook. It came from living it.
But she was often the only woman in the room.
Sophia learned early that talent isn’t enough, visibility and knowing the unwritten rules create opportunity.
She learned these rules by trial and error, adapting to spaces not designed for her.
She saw other brilliant women of colour face the same struggle: unrecognized work, silenced voices, and waiting to be discovered instead of positioning themselves.
These women didn’t lack ability.
They lacked access to frameworks for visibility.
That’s when Sophia knew what she had to build.
She left corporate to create The Visible Foundation—a place where women of colour access tools, strategies, and community she wished she’d had.
The Visible Foundation teaches women to take up space, not shrink.
It shows women how to position themselves as the obvious choice, not wait their turn.
What drives Sophia every day:
When women become visible and powerful, they reinvest in their communities, open doors, and shift what’s possible for the next generation.
This work is deeply personal; every woman served is someone Sophia wishes she could have helped sooner, including herself.
Her message to you:
"If you've ever felt overlooked despite your brilliance, I see you. Your visibility isn't vanity. It's legacy. Let's build yours together."
